Terms of Service

Effective date: July 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services of Orbital Metrology LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Services

Orbital Metrology is currently in pre-launch customer discovery and is not yet accepting equipment for calibration. Future service scope, turnaround times, and pricing will be defined in individual quotations and contracts once operations begin.

3. Free Workflow Tools

The asset register builder and certificate parser are provided as pre-release productivity tools. Machine-extracted and normalized data may be incomplete or incorrect and must be verified against the signed certificate and your quality-system requirements before compliance or operational use. You are responsible for exporting and retaining any register you create.

4. Quotations and Contracts

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A binding contract is formed when we accept your purchase order or when you accept our quotation in writing. Standard payment terms are Net 30.

5. Calibration Certificates

All calibration work is documented with a Certificate of Calibration that includes measurement results, uncertainty statements, and traceability to national standards (NIST). Certificates are provided in electronic format unless hard copies are requested.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the calibration service provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to production losses, equipment downtime, or lost profits.

7. Equipment Handling

Equipment sent to us for calibration remains the property of the customer. We exercise reasonable care in handling equipment but recommend customers maintain insurance coverage. Equipment not picked up within 90 days of service completion may be subject to storage fees.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all customer information, equipment data, and calibration results as confidential. We will not disclose this information to third parties without your consent, except as required by accreditation bodies or law.

9. Accreditation

Orbital Metrology is pursuing ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation through A2LA. Accreditation is not yet complete, and no current claim of accredited status or accredited scope is made.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
